The MassWIM Control Unit serves as he central processing hubof the entire Weigh-In-Motion system. It collects, processes, and securely stores data from the system’s sensors before transmitting it o higher-level platforms for traffic statistics, toll collection, and enforcement applications. The control unit accurately evaluates vehile weight, axle loads, speed, dimensions, and vehicle classification.
Supporting modern communication technologies, including 4G, 5G, LTE, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi, the unit integrates seamlessly with external systems. Redundant data storage ensures the secure retention of measurement data and camera recordings, while its robust industrial design delivers reliable long-term performance in demanding climate confitions. Designed for efficient deployment, the unit can be installed with minimal disruption to existing roadway infrastructure.
